River Rock Casino Resort Celebrates 20 Years with Major Upgrades and New Attractions

Richmond, B.C. — River Rock Casino Resort is marking its 20th anniversary with a multi-million dollar upgrade to its facilities, reaffirming its status as one of British Columbia’s top gaming and hospitality destinations.

Operated by Great Canadian Entertainment, the resort is rolling out extensive enhancements throughout 2024. Highlights include the introduction of the Gordon Ramsay Steak restaurant, an expanded slot floor, a reimagined theatre, and a redesigned central atrium. The resort is also reopening its 130-slip marina, offering renewed experiences for boating guests.

As part of the celebration, the River Rock team held a commemorative event on June 26, 2024, welcoming local dignitaries, including Richmond Mayor Malcolm Brodie, and representatives from Great Canadian Entertainment. During the event, the resort presented a charitable donation to the Richmond Hospital Foundation, reinforcing its strong ties to the community.
