Hard Rock Live Ottawa Opens in Style with David Foster, Katharine McPhee, and Avril Lavigne

Canada’s capital is about to welcome a brand-new entertainment destination. Hard Rock Live Ottawa, part of the new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa, will open its doors with a weekend of show-stopping performances from some of music’s biggest names.
Grand Opening Lineup:
July 3: Legendary producer David Foster and singer Katharine McPhee will kick off the celebrations with a night of powerful vocals and timeless classics.
July 5: Canadian pop-punk icon Avril Lavigne takes the stage for the final show of her Greatest Hits tour, bringing hits like “Sk8er Boi” and “Complicated” to her hometown crowd.
With a capacity of 2,200 seats, the new venue is set to host top-tier concerts and live events, putting Ottawa on the map for major entertainment.
Tickets for the grand opening events are available via Ticketmaster.ca starting June 20 at 10 AM ET.
“We knew opening weekend had to be unforgettable—and this lineup delivers,” said Christine Crump, President of Hard Rock Ottawa.
